Sigh. The terrible outcome of not spending enough time with my child.
Perry is getting a little out of hand. The little cartoon, as we so affectionately call him, has started throwing things when he doesn't get what he wants, although he doesn't yet know how to express his wishes in words. He'll motion to what he wants, and say words like "Urk, urk!" to catch our attention. When he is refused, or ignored, he'll angrily throw things onto the floor. When Peter and I are around, Perry will get immediate results for his bad behaviour – explanation and then hard spanking – but when we're not, then he gets his way. Sigh.
He's still a happy child, except for
discipline sessions and times when we part. Leaving the house has become an art for us, since Perry still finds it very difficult for us to leave the house without him. The cute cartoon will pick up his socks and shoes when he sees Daddy wearing his own shoes. Just how do you determine to leave the house and leave behind this little darling?
Perry is such an adorable cute little boy…
