With his CAR!!! in his happy meal box (that's how he says "car" these days, with gusto and OOMPH), Little Perry happily headed for the beach. It's his 2nd time at the beach to really play at the water's edge. I was really unsure of how he would take to the waves this time. Remember how he was during his first time at the beach?

In no time he deftly took his Crocs off. He remembers the sand, I think. Or he's just trying to keep his fave shoes clean.
Then it's off to the waves!
We dug up loads of things from the sand. Papa taught Little Perry how to identify sea shells. Mama was worse. Haha. I simply looked for those that were still alive. It's steamed shells for tea in the afternoon on the menu. (Perry's Gong Gong taught me how to look for live shells and cook them since I was little. It's become an achievement for me since then. Ask me if you wanna learn k?
He had a really good time. Little Perry loved it so much that he became too dangerous. We had to pull him back nearer to us on so many occassions.

He was so happy with the waves rushing up his feet that it became the ankles, and then the nappy level. Notice how in the first 3 photos his tee is wet? For all these photos, Little Perry simply refused to look up at the camera. He was too taken by the waves.

See how the cute fellow was so hilariously delighted? Actually now that it's night already, Perry is still holding onto the spades and digging in his cot bed.
And his cheeks are a little pink. Sun burnt? Whatever it is, we have a date for tomorrow morning – to the Beach again. Perry declared, SAND!!!

Postscript: The steamed shells tasted really good.
(See our spoils in Perry's yellow bucket?)
Note to my sis: Wanna bring Naomi and Perry to go dig up some more shells some day?
